What’s changing
Gemini in Google Drive now supports folder-specific conversations
Google Drive users who have been using Gemini in the side panel can now focus their conversations to a specific Drive folder. This means that after indicating a specific folder via an @-mention, users can ask Gemini to find files in the folder or write a summary of the folder’s content. Some example prompts include:
- “Summarize files in @-folder”
- “What is the theme of the content in @-folder”
This new feature allows for more targeted and efficient use of Gemini within Google Drive, making it easier to find information and gain insights from specific folders.
